Cancellation & Refund Policy
1. Provider-specific policies come first
Each provider sets its own cancellation window, fees, and refund rules, which are shown before you book and again before you cancel. The platform enforces whichever terms you accepted at booking — never terms added afterward.
2. Cancelling an appointment
Before you confirm a cancellation you will always see: the appointment details, the cancellation deadline, any fee, the refund amount, expected refund timing, consequences for any prepayment, and the option to reschedule instead. Cancellation requires explicit confirmation. You may optionally share a standardized reason (schedule conflict, cost, symptoms improved, found another provider, and so on) — never required, never sold.
3. Rescheduling
Rescheduling keeps your existing appointment until the replacement is confirmed by the provider's scheduling system. Any financial changes are shown for acceptance before the switch, and your calendar events update automatically.
4. When a provider cancels
You are notified immediately, and the cancellation is identified as provider-initiated. You receive priority rebooking assistance and alternatives, prepayments and deposits are refunded, calendar events are updated, and the full history is preserved in your account.
5. Refund timing
Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Typical processor timing is several business days; the exact expectation is shown at cancellation. Partial refunds are itemized.
6. Disputes
Any cancellation, no-show, or late-cancellation charge can be disputed through support. Charges apply only when the policy was disclosed, accepted, legally and contractually permitted, and the provider documented the qualifying event. See the Financial & Payment Terms.
